Safeway Donates $3,000 and Celebrates Remodeled Kapahulu Location

Safeway has been proudly serving Hawaii since 1963.  This week the store located at 888 Kapahulu Avenue will celebrate a remodeling of the facility. The re-grand opening ceremony on Wednesday, August 9th at 8 a.m. will commemorate the occasion with a donation of $3,000 from the Safeway Foundation to Ke Kula Kaiapuni ‘O Anuenue and remarks from Store Director Branden Nishikawa. 

 

New store offerings include expanded premium deli offerings with a range of freshly prepared meals and ready-to-serve options, and an assortment of organic fresh-cut options with a variety of specialty fruits and vegetables. Unique to this location is a new concierge service that will help coordinate catering needs and special orders. Whether you’re planning a small gathering or large event, the in-store concierge service can customize catering, menu planning and floral arrangements.  The store also has a floral department with full-service counter.

 

The store itself showcases a variety of fresh-cut fruits and vegetables, and high-quality choices from bakery and meat and seafood departments. The Drive Up and Go pick-up service continues to allow customers a convenient option to place grocery orders online, schedule a pick-up time at the store for an associate to put the groceries directly into their car.
